Steps to prepare Spicy Vegetable Manchuria





Ingredients 
  • cabbage 
  • carrots 
  • corn starch
  • green chillies
  • salt
  • oil
  • chopped garlic
  • green chilies
  • onions 
  • tomato ketchup
  • soya sauce 

Method of Preparation:
  1. Mix grated cabbage (2 cups) and carrots (2 cups), half boil and squeeze the water from them.
  2. In a bowl take the squeezed cabbage and carrots, add corn starch, few chopped green chillies and salt (1sp) mix them well.
  3. Make small balls (like koftas) of the mixture.
  4. Heat oil (250ml) in a pan and deep fry the balls till golden brown, drain and keep aside.
  5. Now in a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp oil, Saute chopped garlic (1sp), green chilies (1sp) and spring onions (2sp).
  6. Add water (1/4cup), salt (to taste), pepper powder (to taste), ajinomoto (1/4sp), sugar (pinch), tomato ketchup (4sp) and soya sauce (2sp). Bring it to a boil.
  7. Take corn four (2sp) in a bowl add water (1/2cup) and stir it. Gently add the fried balls to the gravy.
  8. Cook the vegetable manchurian for 3-4 minutes and serve hot garnished with chopped coriander.
